Westec Envirostop TPER Waterstops offer excellent resistance to a wide range of oils, solvents and aggressive chemicals and are not readily soluble in any common solvent. ASTM test (D-471) shows good resistance to oils, fuels, acids, bases and numerous solvents.

TPER (Thermoplastic Elastomeric Rubber) is a fully vulcanized blend of EPDM and Polypropylene, also called a Thermoplastic Vulcanizate or TPV. This gives the waterstop the flexibility and sealing properties of a rubber seal, but allows for heat welding and processing like a plastic.
