X-Pruf PE Membrane

Self-adhesive bituminous membrane

X-Pruf PE Membrane is a polyethylene and polymer modified bitumen composite self-adhesive waterproofing membrane.  X-Pruf PE60 Membrane is in thickness of 1.5mm while X-Pruf PE65 Membrane is 1.6mm thick.

 

Specification compliances:

  • BS 8102

  • BS 743 (as bitumen damp proof sheeting for insertion between  pipes and supports)

  • G.S. Clause 21.18(1) (as joint filler for slip joint in marine works)

 

Age-old specification always stipulates 20mm thick mastic asphalt for roof waterproofing.  However, mastic asphalt is a traditional way to waterproof a roof and has widely been considered as outdated due to the use of hot bitumen is very dangerous and environmental unfriendly.  An easier way is that two layers of X-Pruf PE60 Membrane can appropriately replace that 20mm thick mastic asphalt.

X-Pruf PE Membrane is made in United Arab Emirates and is supplied in 1m wide, 10m long rolls.  PE60 is basically ex-stock Hong Kong.
